Bars dont discriminate...

Its been a little dark in "the cave" so I thought I might try to lighten things up a bit.
This was caught in March up at Lopez Lake after only trolling the bar for about 5 minutes. Wasnt our main objective for the trip, but wanted to try the bar out in the fresh water.

Proof that bars work anywhere and everywhere...

Good stuff Igloo! Actually, though, that's a Spider, not a bar. Those things are catching everything from salmon, to big yellowtails (ahem), to bounce balled halibut, to lake salmon and trout and some MONSTER largemouths. Lots of striped bass back east and albacore...even two at a time for a certain maniac I know who put two hooks on a Spider last year...

Too bad there isn't a panga fleet down south that had an arsenal of them...I bet they'd really kick ass down there!

Igloo, did you look at the video of the bars dancing to La Musica?

You got me there Fred... Spider "the bar mutation"...

Saw the video and know first hand that you have to try very hard to even get them to even think about tangling with eachother... Music made me miss home... Only 12 days til Im back in La Paz...
