So Fred likes to toot his own horn. BFD. Fred has more experience on the water than I ever hope to have, and if you have half a brain, you realize that he just might just have a trick or 2 that you dont know.....and you never will unless you shut up and listen. Take it or leave it, matters none to me.......however;

THIS IS THE FRED ARCHER FORUM.

what that means, boys and girlz, is that Fred is running the show in his forum.

He can say what he wants, when he wants. If you guys want some constructive advice and opinions on tackle and technique, hang out in the cave. Have a question for Fred? Ask away! Disagree with Fred? No problem..........its allowed! Sometimes, good things can come from disagreement, if the issues are discussed intellegently. (For most of you old timers, this runs contrary to everything BD is about.........sorry. We are going for a little "nicer", if you will, interaction in Freds forum.........there is no reason we cant play nice in here and beat the shit out of each other elsewhere..........I think. )

anyway,
If you are just wanting to bitch, and complain about Fred......well, dont be surprised if your post is deleted. No hard feelings.......

Fred: on the flip side of the coin, I understand that want a discussion here, not shit slinging and name calling....so how about we (meaning you) just ignore the asshats and naysayers....let me handle those. YOU have to understand, though, that this is Bloodydecks, and the guys will rip right into you at the drop of a hat.....so lets not give them reason to, eh?

Kind of what I said. Everyone was being pretty congratulatory and then the past comes up. Let it go and move on. I like his tutorials and plan to try some of his ideas.
The other ranting well it just leads to other stuff. No doubt the guy knows his stuff.

Play nice ladies... It's Fred's forum and there's potentially a reason that you don't have your own forum.

Oh wait that's the nonsense anything forum. Please take your bullshit there please.

Mikey's right and deserves some Halibut! I'll be around this weekend.

Congratulations on the cover and the many accolades you deserve. Having accomplished what nobody can or will again speaks for itself. Nobody can change history.

There are always a few jackasses in every crowd, it's best to just ignore them. There limited knowledge or experience will be revealed in due time.

Yep.

Coming from someone who has used Fred's bars and other tricks for many years... its REALLY fucking funny to see the naysayers hurling insults. If they only knew how stupid they look from the eyes of someone who knows better.

Fred is one of the nicest guys out there... always going out of his way to try and convince the stubborn and the ignorant to try something different. The turdhurlers are truely the bottom of the barrel. Like I said, if you only knew how wrong you are.

Thanks for everything Fredster. Screw the lowlifes anyways.
