As you all know the Recreational Fishing Alliance Southern California Chapter has been working diligently on your behalf in the MLPA process. They have been and will continue attending meetings from Sacramento to San Diego to protect your right to fish along our coast.
RFA So Cal needs our help to continue the fight.
I sent an email to Gary LaCroix who owns the HIGHLINER out of Redondo Sportfishing. He quickly replied with an offer of an inshore charter for a day. This would be an 8 pak, you and 7 of your friends fishing a 3/4 day trip off Southern California in the Spring.
Here's the details:
Opportunities are $25.00 each or 5 for $100.00.
Drawing will be Jan. 13th, 2007 at the Wallbanger Tournament.
Winner will coordinate with Gary to schedule the day of fishing.
The HIGHLINER does not run from Jan. - March. Anytime after April 1st would be OK (Can you say seabass!!?)
Winner is responsible for buying the bait that day and Tipping the crew. (The crew will be volunteering for this)
Bring your own food and drinks....there is no galley crew.
Value of the trip is about $1000.00
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO RECREATIONAL FISHING ALLIANCE SO CAL.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS 12/31/06
I have fished with Gary several times. He is one of the most generous and fun guys to be around. His charters are a blast!
