That boat rocked, launched off of Gaviota beach and fished/surfed/dove all the way up to Pt. Conception in that thing. As it was getting older, it started to crease in the middle in heavy wind chop. Wish I still had it.
I'll probably buy the $5 stamp. I know that the money will probably be wasted or worse, but hey, it's a nice gesture.

On the topic of the thread, If there are roughly 2 million licence holders and about $50 per licence they should have over $100 million in funding. I think the State should fix there own problems rather then charge us.

ANYBODY that gives the state extra money for ANYTHING needs to have their head examined.They will use it for any purpose but the stated one.The state is broke not because we don't give them enough of our tax dollars but because we don't demand what we have already paid for!
