Get involved. Stay informed. Also, if a large number of anglers contact their local news outlets seeking more information and providing comment - those same outlets will devote more air time, print, and resources to covering the issue.

I really believe that we as anglers need to come up with a counter proposal once the potentially closed areas are known, rather than just saying, "No!" to any more reserves. That strategy has not worked at all so far.
