Oil Mix Ratio
I have an 8 hp Yamaha outboard 8LJ a 1986 and want to find out the mix ratio for it???? I was told 75/1 ratio
Any info would be great

if you have to guess always stay on the rich side i would start at 50:1 and have extra plugs most outboards are 50:1 with an exception of a few 75:1 and 100:1 johnson 15 hp 9.9 hp older models
