How to remove Morse twin engine controls?

Anyone know? I haven't tried it yet, but I need to remove them on Sunday prior to droping the boat off at the yard for painting.

There is a cotter key and pin at the top of the control....pull out the cotter key...... slide out the pin .....remove cable and bracket at bottom of control....
