Converting to tiller???

I am considering buying an 9.9hp that is not a tiller.But i need a tiller.What is needed to make it into a tiller?Any info is appreciated

I know if it's a Yamaha your can get a tiller kit...which is everything.

I just did that to my Mercury 35hp outboard.Found the kit on E-ba.. came with tiller,shifter and ignition key for the electric start.

My buddy works for HONDA in Torrance and says he can get a new 2005 9.9 with power tilt right out of the crate. Still has the factory warranty. He needs to make an offer to the repo department. How much should he offer?
