B-O-A-T-T...........................

Brake out another TWENTY THOUSAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put my Boat in the Dana Point Ship Yard last week to have a new Transducer installed. OK around a Grand and to service the Out Drives. WELL......................Shit
First it is a 28 Skippy with twin Diesels. Jim we need to talk about a few things said the SY Foreman.
Your exhaust hose on both engines are very bad. So we remove them and the exhaust pipes to the out drives are just about gone. OK now what? we will have to pull the engines to get to them. Well as long as you have the engines out lets scrub and paint the bilge and paint the engines, we can do that said the foreman.
Jim the hydraulic rams on the port side is leaking real bad, We may as well do both as long as the engines are out.
Did I forget to say both elbows are shot. What the fuck is next.
At this time I start to wonder how much this is coming to. It looks about twenty Grand.
So thats where we are at now. I told him that Twenty K is all i will spend on this damn boat and to cut it off when we are at twenty.
Damn..... all I wanted was to get the new Fish Finder and Transducer installed.
Well look at it this way.........I can go to San Clemente Island and not worry about a lot of stuff on the boat. That's what I say, and told Betty. She said that Fu%^ing boat is all you think of.
I'll bring the rest of this story up when I get the boatt back. Have a good day. ( RIGHT) D-J

You should tell him to stop at 10k so you can actually stop it at 20

I know those exhaust "Y" tubes are around 700 bucks each on there own and the labor to get to them must be at least 3 X that. I feel your pain brother. You should be set for the spring/summer though,if it ever gets here.

Good Luck Jim

Let me guess, you were talking with Jackson.....
Time for a trailer. The 28' has an 8-6 beam.
Trailer boats can go anywhere for repairs w-out spending yard fees. Bottom paint, if already there, last forever. No drive corrosion. Etc.etc.Etc.

As far as Acronyms go, the boat yard prefers; Bend Over And Take-it.

Mother Fucker!

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

I am pretty darn sure Jim is not about start trailering his boat after considering he has a view of his slip from his balcony.

I am sure to hear about the boat problems Jim. I hope things get figured out.
