well i just bought the center rise exhaust manifold conversion kit for my merc 350 (260) from go2marine,com. Darren was a GREAT help! he says that 100% of the people have increased fuel economy, cooling, HP and general performance after the conversion... has anyone done the conversion? whats your take? did you see a performance change? anything? let me know. im curious to see how they work for me... the kit was $859.00 plus god damn $100 in shipping but not bad and its all new shit... ill get them next week and be out there soon! i cant wait...! thanks for the feedback guys!

Are you talking about a Throttle Body Injection conversion?

Drawing a blank here, can somebody break out the crayons and make a picture for me. I'm not familliar with a center rise manifold. Never heard of that before. Like Fishability asks, is it bennificial ?

Uless you needed to replace the exhaust or it least the risers I GUESSING that it is not very cost effective. But if money is not a problem a little more power is always a good thing. Are the manifolds and/or risers FWC?

Actually, it's like replacing the stock ehaust on a truck with more efficient headers.
The log style pollutes each cylinder downstream slightly. The center rise, is more even on exhaust. So it should be better. GLM has a short runner in the manifold. Stock Merc just dumps into a big opening.

I've never ran the log style on the 350 I had in my Bayliner. I was a Cobra I used Osco Volvo replacement headers on (center rise) and they do evacuate the exhaust system more effeciently.
