Which one should i buy? Need your experience..

Hey there,
This is Tony Kazan, all my life i fished in mediterranian sea, agean sea and black sea, moved to USA 3 years ago (San Diego, CA) and looking forward to fish again!!
I dont have any Ocean experience (incl, ocean fishing, maintaining boats..) so need some advise..
My first option are 2353 WA from trophy with Diesel engine, Triumph 235 CC or 215 Tournament (with Honda outboard), or 222 Scout abaco..
these are the boats i like so far..
well, help me out please
Thanks.
ps: also tell me what options should i get and what are must?
I will use the boat for Offshore fishing and sometimes just taking family out for some fun..

Get a WalkAround if you plan on taking out the family. Or, just like a place to sit, out of the spray while cruising. Diesel is hard to beat for range but they are LOUD. I don't think the Trophy diesels are large, I'll have to look. Mine is a 300HP and hauls butt while still giving amazing range while cruising and trolling.

checked:
2.8ltr diesel 200hp in a 23' Trophy. That's a 45mph boat or better with the right props. I'm thinking 26's or maybe even 28's. Also, should cruise at over 30mph at 4mpg or so. Trolling should be around 8mpg. Also, you won't have that fat outboard to fish around. 101 gallon tank? Plenty for a diesel. Not enough for a weekend to San Clemente with a gas motor. You could do it, just not enough safety factor for me. The 2.8ltr is very short and should not intrude into the cockpit much at all. Probably less than an outboard will. And, Trophy dropped that lame ass euro transom others still like so much. More room.

the Trophy with deisel new is close to what we paid for our Parker 2320 with 250HP Yamaha loaded w/ 1/2 tower, bait tank,18 rockect launcher, plus sick Furno electronics. Just buy a parker2320 you will thank me later.

PS.There are alot of quality boats out there. It is really about what works for you.

I operate on of the smaller ones for work. I don't know about the "hardcore" thing but it's a decent ride. Tough boat but not what I'd want for a family rig. I do love the Honda outboards though..

For $5000.00 more than the trophy WA, I will sell you my new Nov 2005 Aquasport 275 Explorer loaded. I am the original owner.

300 hrs on motors top of the line electronics, very capable boat. Plenty of room for the family too. Down side is trailering that thing.

PM me if you are any way interested and I will send you all details.

The question to ask yourself is " which one can you afford " ? A new boat is quite an investment and what are your long term goals ??? there's a few more ?'s but what fits your lifestyle ? Think about for a bit and don't impulse buy

I can pretty much afford anything out there. prob WA will be way to go and storage is not a problem for me $25 a month i have a safe storage area for any size boat, 24/7 access too. ( my mother in law lives in mobile home park and they have a huge area to store RVs + boats). I wanna be able to hold on fishing on rough seas (have international captain license up to 25 gross ton) and still take family out for fun to go islands.
