Too much for that little boat. I'm selling mine for $6000 (negotiable) and she's turn key with trailer, and a MOTOR. ANY TAKERS??

As far as cost to get a boat on the water, ready to fish, yes I did. Nothing wrong with a smaller boat, and Whalers are nice boats being unsinkable, I prefer the softer, dryer ride a bigger (well as big as I can afford) boat offers. Also, not everyone on this site can afford 10k to put a motor on the back and a trailer underneath that boat. I sure couldn't.

I'll get throught the rough stuff quicker, dryer, more comfortable and burn way less fuel, oh yeah my boat will also out fish yours too and it looks 10 times better. I think your boat is way over priced. JMHO

I think your boat is way over priced. JMHO | I'm not about to get into a pissin contest over who's boat is better. As to your opinion as whos is dryer or more comfortable I couldn't care less to be honest with you. Outfishing is a matter of the captain, not the boat. I got a buyer for $5500 btw. I know my boat is older, and may not be the best looking one out there, but you know what, it gets me out there, gets me on the fish, I have a good time with my friends, and I get back safely all the time. Does anything else really matter? The root of what I'm getting at is that boats, like houses, are an overpriced market. It's just the nature of the beast. I got a house that probably cost 40k to build, yet it's worth $580k. Call me frugal, I just don't see why things cost so much. Believe me, if I could afford a newer better looking boat, I'd be all over it. Truth is, putting my ass on the line in Iraq while everyone else enjoys the freedom and security we provide doesn't pay enough to do that.
