Re: Transom Savers

Let me sum it up and save you money, NO

I have a 200 HP O/B, Wt. 495 lbs. My opinion, all the Transom Savers are, are "Piece of "Mind". Some people will differ. I have had many, many boats and never used one of those things. Good luck, Jack

Re: Transom Savers

I wouldn't trailer any boat without a transom saver. I've seen too many boats with cracks along the rear of the deck from being trailered hard without a transom saver. Heck, I use one on my I/O...

Re: Transom Savers

It may be good for insurance but a solid boat shouldn't need one...

Re: Transom Savers

Road shock is gonna get absorbed thru your tilt hydraulics, no matter if you have a transom saver or not. Better for manual tilt motors.
