Probably know the answer to this already but WTF. 1990 25' skippy fisherman.
Would like to take it out every weekend but so far have taken it out once since last August(last weekend to be exact) It seems like if it isn't work draining the crap out of me,wife with her honey-do's,kid,birthdays,events,bills,just life in general pullin at you from all sides a guy just can't seem to find time for himself. Would love to say fuck the world and just go out but I wasn't raised to blow off priorities.Yeah I know, fishing is a priority and I'm used to going out at least once a month "minimum".The last couple years have been a little busy.So other then just bitchin and complaining I guess I'm looking for some BD'rs to talk me out of selling, tell me that I will find time or let me know that I'm not alone in this situation.
The bitchin, whining, complaining is over, the fustration still lingers.

If it's paid for...DON'T DO IT MAN !!!
On the other hand, if it's a monthly drain on the finances selling it is an option.

Keep it, but make yourself a promise if you don't use it in one year...kick it to the curb.

Since you are a fellow BD'r, I'll take it off your hands for say 10k, and do my duty to relieve you of the never ending stress in your life that the boat provides. PM me so I can get payment details
Keep it. Let's fish July 5th!

Dave, you're not alone and sometimes you just gotta say fuck it and give yourself some time every now and again. You'll live longer and happier and more relaxed. The never ending cycle of honeydo's, kids and work ect.. are self perpetuating, complete 1 thing and another pops up in it's place. Tell the wife you want to take her on a nice relaxing boat cruise and end up at the airplane or the 'fly, catch some fish, knock boots and enjoy the time on the water ( get a sitter for the kids )when you get home you'll be so relaxed and de-stressed it's not funny

Dave,
Dont do it.. You only live once and you owe it to yourself to be as happy as possible. And if fishing truly makes you happy then you need to make time for it..

Rule.......
If you have not touched it or used it in a year, sell it, goes for anything, including you boat! You have a couple more months in my book, but if you have to ask the question in the first place, and need to be motivated, sell the shit and become a land loving ho, sounds like you have one foot already there! Don't forget to put your name on the ho list, #375?? or something like that......
If this does not motivate you to use it or loose it then nothing will, sell it why gas is cheap!!

I'm in the same boat. Told myself if I don't blow off the other shit to go fishing this year I'll sell her. At least I don't have storage fees. Anyway I am dead set on using her so that I cannot justify selling her. If that makes sense.
