fuel/water separator

I've been checking a few things on my boat and it looks like it isn't equiped with a fuel/water separator. It's got a 150 Merc oil injected 2 stroke. Any recommendations on a good fuel/water separator?

I was thinking of the Racor 320R-RAC-01

Re: fuel/water separator

git-r-done......with the water seperator cup with the nipple on the bottom to drain water out. usually one of the most neglected thing on a boat next to the battery......and two of the most important.

Re: fuel/water separator

I just bought two replacement elements today. I think the cost of a single unit is somewhere around $100...a must for sure!

This is by far one of the best deals out there. A really nice unit and pretty too.

Thumbs up Re: fuel/water separator

sixty, thanks for the link! That's a far better deal than what I've seen at Boatfix. I'm ordering one today.

Re: fuel/water separator

no problem... they have great deals on other stuff too. I picked up thier rebadged Johnson/Mayfair 750gph bait pump for $24. It works as well as the bait sentry it replaced & they are much easier to work on. Here's the link: https://www.surplusunlimited.com/Mer...ry_Code=1700-1

I could find nothing but good reviews anywhere.
