I've had a 24' cc for the last 3 years and just got tired of always being out in the weather. I was looking for a break from the wind on the trip back in. I decided on a pilot house and bought a Parker 2820 at the long beach show.

I have heard that too. I was asked about freshwater, "kitchen area", and number of days I actually spend on the thing. I overnight on my boat more than just day trips so that was not an issue.

I'll add that information I had heard about other things turned out to not be true. Luckily, it did not affect me or any of my deductions, I was just asking questions. I have friends that are also going through it. One guy is down over $49K.

BTW, I'm not sure "plenty" is accurate. I know there are a couple but they are normally HUGE center consoles. Many in the 30+ foot range do not offer a bed.

Personally I'm very happy with my WA. I like that I can go completely around if I'm fighting a fish, and it's nice to get out of the weather too. Don't get me wrong, I'll hoop all night long but I don't want to sleep freezing my ass off on an open deck. If I didn't do frequent overnighters then a CC would be the ticket.

Me: Well, that part you couldn't hear. It was my asshole un-puckering.

Try that with a Center Console.
How much and what do you deduct if you don't have any payments? Depreciation? Thanks in advance.

Center Consle by far.
Had both and love the room that the Parker 2500 series offers.
I get 2.3 miles per gallon and hold 174 gallons for well over a 350 mile range.
The Parkers are so open that I have a 65 gallon/3 full scoop tank.
Tons of room.

Oh by the way.
Mine is for sale.
Lost my job and need to off it.
Paid 75k with all the electronics and stuff 2 years ago and have added another 8k in custome boat covers, down riggers, out riggers, bait pumps, claw anchor, chain and rope.
Boat is cleaner then the ones Sundance has on their show room floor. Ask Joel, he will tell you.
Letting it go for 49k and it has a full tank of gas.
Let me know.

I'm not the one in the position to give advice since I live in Washington State so we have one choice and thats FULL CABIN or get wet. It would be nice to fish in a walkaround for the room on deck when we are bait fishen!! Opens are a little wet crossing our bar to get out and the sun seems to be alittle finicky when it wants to shine. Hell buy one of each and use each as necessary!!! HOOK UP!!!
