| Who knows how to splice rope?
Have rope, need and eye put on one end so that a shackle can be used to attach new anchor chain.
Have no clue as to who or where to take it to have it done.
Please help.

Is it twist braided rope? Easy deal. Taught myself in 5 minutes.

Rigging The Chain Splice
Or bring it to me and I'll do some more practicing.
But you won't be aloud to watch because it takes many  .
Or you can take it to San Diego Marine Exchange, they have someone who doe's it on the side.

Any sailboat rigger can do this, commercial fisherman, or some West Marine stores have someone who can do this. You should get someone to show you, not too hard. They just look a little cobbie until you practice!!
