Looking For Skipjack.....Project Boat!

I'm posting this for a friend that is seriously looking for a skipjack hull & trailer with no motor or outdrive. It can be 20' or 24' open or flybridge. If you happen to see something or know of something, please post or pm me. Thanks in advance!

Find out what tow compnies tow for the LAPD in the san pedro area. I know for a fact that they towed a skippy 20 not too long ago. The fool left it on the street too long and no tags.

I think they came with a 305. I would think that the boat would perform very well with that set up. I am sure that someone running that set up will chime in. I had a 305 in my 24 and now run a 350 and love it.

Re: Looking For Skipjack.....Project Boat!

to put the volvo drive in you will have to modify the transom I believe the OMC hole is much bigger than te volvo can use

Re: Looking For Skipjack.....Project Boat!

I thought the Skippy's stock outdrive was the volvo. I wasn't aware that they came with the OMC. Can somebody confirm this?
