Looking For Skipjack.....Project Boat!

They came with OMC's, vulvas, and merc's. The OMC hole is huge and requires a rebuild of the transom to fit a vulva.

OMC Electric shift, the opening is 18.5" by 18.5"0- bought 20 hrs and $400 to plug and gelcoat transom - 2 - 3K for a profesional to cut hole and mount engine, transomshield and hang the outdrive.

I've read that thread before and was impressed with your work. Especially being your first time doing it. I had actually had turned down a boat because it had an OMC outdrive and I was told by a couple different companies that it would cost $5000 + to re-do the transom. After reading your post....I regreted passing up the boat. Once again, very nice work and if my buddy has to do something like this, we know that it's possible for us to do!

Fucking A. I have a quote for $3500 to pop in a whole new transom on my 24 Open. $5,000 for the transom and the lower hull to be LP painted. Look around for a better price.
