Best way to sell a used boat?

My buddy is trying to sell his skippy and thought he was priced pretty cheaply but isn't getting much response. Anybody have any experience moving a older skippy? Boat trader? Broker?

Re: Best way to sell a used boat?

I opted to use a broker...
I've heard too many stories about people showing up with their family and a picnic basket wanting to take your boat for a nice harbor cruise with no intention on buying. If you do it yourself always get a deposit for the sea trial.

Yes, his screen name is Jacko. And I think he's pretty flexible on his price. Look for the 1980/2003 Skipjack 24 open.

Its in good shape and he'd probably do better on the price. His wife is giving him a rash since he's about to take delivery of a new one and he still has this.
