Beware: Dana Point Embarcadero Thieves at it Again

FYI folks,

I found my cover lifted and several items "rearranged" on Saturday afternoon. Interesting enough, there was a flashllight that was sitting on the deck, not mine of course. I wonder if anyone else found their boat in the same condition.

Re: Beware: Dana Point Embarcadero Thieves at it Again

WTF? thats one too many boat theft reports this weekend. My buddy who's boat is parked down there doesn't even leave his life jackets onboard.

Luckily, my boat has been in for maintenance this past week. What did the peeps at embarcadero say?

Re: Beware: Dana Point Embarcadero Thieves at it Again

Since I am out in the parking lot (T lot) and not in the gated area, there isn't much the Embarcadero folks can do to.

I have found from previous experiences that the embarcadero folks are good with internal administration matters but when something goes missing, there isn't much they can do.

Maybe I should fingerprint the flashlight and call in a favor from the local police. That way we can find the culprit and "address" the issue of theft in a personal manner.

Any taker on busting someone's ballon knot with a 4 cell mag lite?????
