mako 184 and mercury outboards

looking into buying a mako 184 with a 115 mercury optimax and was wondering if anyone has any experences with these boats or the motors. I know very little about mercury outboards and need some feedback to make a decision. they offer the optimax series which is two stroke fuel injected or the four stroke efi model. my primary use is for coastal california waters.....any feedback would be appreciated.

thanks
