Re: WANT: a little skiff

I'll take $200 for this 9 foot boat. No papers. Motor not included.

I got this from the marina, it was abandoned.

I got about $300 into it fixing it up.

Rows real nice. To heavy to be a dinghy for my boat.

I can carry it in the back of my mini van and launch by hand.

Located in Valley Center

Re: WANT: a little skiff

i'd look into getting a 2man buster boat with a small trolling motor. had one when i lived in so cal . very stable boats, easy to fit in a p/u or van , unsinkable and very safe. shop the papers or ads in tackle shops and you should be able to pick one up cheap. no offense but i'v fished out of a boat like the one in the pic above and i flipped it twice setting the hook on bass. good luck and i hope this helps

i picked mine up for 200 bucks and a 30# thrust trolling motor and d/c battery for about 200 more. had a little humminbird sonar on it too. used to launch it in newport harbor all the time , great for fishing around docks and such.
