<!--StartFragment -->You can claim a refund on all gasoline used outside the three mile limit. You can also go back 3 years. You need to keep all your gasoline invoices so you know how many gallons you have purchased for the year. You also need to determine how much gas you used to go out past the 3 mile limit and back again. You may also use a percentage / estimate also.

The rebate is 18 cents per gallon. Last year I bought 1,980 gallons of fuel and a conservative estimate at 75% or 1,485 gallons = $267 rebate back to me.
Its well worth it and you do not have to own a business.
