windshield fab??

I'm looking at a project boat- an older 60's glasspar witha missing curved windshield. Done a search on this forum and think I'll try SD Plastics- it appears they are the source for the material and possibly fab. Anybody had a similar job done?

Had to make two curved windshields for an old 1969 starcraft runabout. Used lexan for added strength.Came out real nice, used a heat gun to bend my curves and used the old shields as templates. Just make sure you leave extra material cause you can always trim but can't add.The heat gun makes them look foggy at first but when they cool they clear up. If you nver bent pexi-glass or lexan with a heat gun I recommend practicing with a scrap piece to get the feel for it.
