two issues, AGM Batteries, Yamaha Dealers

Throwing this out,
Need two new batteries, looking at agm. and cant decide if i go with two starting batts or one starting and one house.
I have alot of electronics and lights etc.
Need good starting but really good house power on the drift.

also info on batt combiners, isolaters etc, very confusing to me.
Dont want to do this twice..

Also,
anyone with experiences with a local yamaha dealer for a new engine to be installed. Price, service, followup, all considered.

Want it quick although probably just a dream this time of year to get repowered quickly.

Boy the winter went fast.

Thanks to all in advance

Steve, I dont know about the Yamaha Dealer yet, ill try to find out something for you (possibly Seawitch Marine ), but as for getting it done quick that should not be a problem at all once you figure out who you are going to buy from. Outboard Repower's are a snap, and can easily be done in just a day. I have heard much good about Seawitch Marine, I just dont know if they are a Yamaha Dealer.

Seawitch?

Thanks ??fisherman.
Still need info on combiner/conditioner or isolater, lots to read on them, i've tried, but still dont know if I really need it. With all the changes I've made to the boat lately, I'm not so confident in going 50-80nm offshore anytime soon.
Two shakedown cruises and twice electrical failures and instrumentation malfunctions.
Alittle shakey to me..

Any one know of discount batt dealers around within driving distance. AGM i believe is going to be the choice unless I find out thats not a good choice.

thanks

For Engine repair and install

http://www.boatdepot.net/

4025 Pacific Highway San Diego, California 92110 (619) 296-2866

I hardly pay for any boatwork anymore but when I do I go to these guys. They run a quality show down there. I'm not affiliated but I have taken my ride to few places and these guys took care of me.
