When I had my Opti all I ever used was the Mecury Synthetic 2 stroke. I believe it was specially formulated for that engine. Pricey, but we never had a major problem (over 3000 hours). We also religiously used the Yamaha Ring Free to the gas. I swear by that stuff for keeping the injectors clean, etc. We still use the ring free on our 4 stroke.
