Do you guy's use fresh water or salt water for your wash down pump? What are the reasons you use fresh or salt?...Thanks.......

I have a 30 gallon fresh water tank in the bow of the boat.....when it's full the boat goes faster?.....go figure that!.....

I have both, use raw water washdown most of the time only use fresh when rinsing equipment (reels/jigs).

Exactly. I carry 160 gal of fresh but very rarely use the was down. Ususally easier to hose of the gear at the dock.

The fresh water was cool on the Striper when I had it. Especially going to Mex you could rinse the motor even if you were in a remote location.

On a lake, just use the raw water intake, jusat like in salt water. If you have it.
