Parker 2520. deep vs mod V

Have seen plenty of discussion about the general merrits of deep vs modified V hull designs. Heard lots of positives on the relatively few 2520s on the west coast. Anyone have any observations on the modified V. Any and all input appreciated.

truthfully I dont know shit about Parkers, other than looking at them at Dana however i have fished bass boats and walleye boats in the ocean, The bass boat was a mod V while the walleye boat was a deep V. The Mod V definatley got up on plane better and did okay with the modest slop at lake lajolla, the walleye boat seemed a little doggish however handled the afternoon chop much better. It seems that the weather would be the deciding facter in Either ones performance. my kidneys felt much better fishing on the lund boat. while the tracker seemed a bit more stable when settled in on a drift. Does this mean any thing to a parker I dont know but I would imagine that the Mod V would get up and scoot a bit quicker and kick your ass in the process. since the Parker guys are surely busy working late on friday to make their payments I am sure some one will chime in that has a better qualified opinion.

The deep V doesn't ride all that great.

I've heard horror stories about the ride in a Mod V.

I wouldn't even consider a Mod V in that boat.

With the helm being so far forward you are already at a dissadvantage from a ride standpoint.

Demo both in different conditions. Deep V's will typically handle sloppy conditions better. Flatter bottom boats will sit cross swell better for fishing.

The ocean has a way of f'n up what should work though.
