Battery Help

my girlfriend hooked me up with this for christmas:

ocean kayak drifter. and my parents got me a bait tank for it, but i need a battery to run the tank. so, being a rookie at this, i have three questions:

1. what should i use for a battery to run the pump?
2. where can i find one in orange county?
3. what should i expect (roughly) to pay for one?

i'm hoping to (someday) have a gps and a depthfinder for the yak as well. but that might be a couple years off.

I've got the 12V 7 Amps only gets about 5 hours of life but Im going to be switching to the 6 V 12 amps , I hear they last longer?

yeah, she's a keeper for sure, and so are my parents. i'm pretty damn lucky if i do say so myself. and hopefully i'll be getting more reports up here in the near future.

thanks Buttchaser, i GREATLY appreciate the info. do you know if they have a storefront? i'm DYING to pick one up and try it out and don't want to have to wait for it to be delivered.

I dont think so , You can also pick one up at Radioshack, or fry's
