Gel Coat Gun?

Doing the glass work on my window extention and was going to use a roller for the gel coat unless some one has a gel coat spray gun I could borrow/buy!

you can use any conventional spray gun, try harbor freight. should be able to pick a chep one up for around 20.00

Go to the classic mako or classic seacraft web sites you will find more info about DIY projects and repairs on boats than you would have ever guesed.

I am in the process of stipping down my boat and redoing the consol (reorganize the instruments), deck (soft spot by the seat post), and transom (rasing it to 25 inches vice the 20 she is at now). I plan on painting since i will be using epoxy resin.

if you can use a standard gun I have one still in the box you can use..just pick it up. its one that came with a compressor kit..about the same as one you would get at home depot. live in chula work in la jolla.

Thanks! I have one like that too, just didnt know you could use it thought it would be to hard to clean the tip out.

DMS has one thats only about $100 I may just pick it up, then again a roller will work fine just a little more sanding.

Oceanside swapmeet..... a buddy of mine has bought a few good ones there for 20 $ ....not poo-poo-ing you , they are good spray guns we use them for spraying gel coat on plugs at work. Worth the time
