mobile upholsterer

Looking to get the seats and engine cover re-done on my skippy. The boat is in a slip in Mission Bay. Anyone know of somebody in Mission Bay or a mobile upholsterer? Could take it around to San Diego Bay if needed.

I'm trying a place called Connies Upholstry. So far so good. They drove up to Escondido from Mission Valley to pick up my panels. A friend of mine turned me onto them and he said they do excpetional work. Also, the price seems very reasonable. If you want their phone # just let me know. It's at home so I could give it to you tonight.

That would be great Weazel. I'd be interested to know how your project comes out also.

I'll post the info tonight. My friend told me this guy does a lot of work for the local marinas. The boat will look sweet when she's all done!!

OK, the company is Connie's Upholstry and the phone number is 619-582-2838. The guys name is Luis Ojeda. He's mobil but he shares a shop over in mission gorge with a shoe repair guy. The address of the shop is 7435 "B" Mission George Rd, SD, 92120. Call him and he'll drive to where you want to meet him and give you a price on the spot. I haven't seen his work yet but I hear it's pretty good. If you guys want to be on the safe side, I'm suppose to get half the panels back by the end of this week. I could let you know how they turned out and snap some pictures of the results.

Sorry I didn't get back to the post sooner. I picked up two of the side panels and got them installed. They turned out sweet! The boats going to look sick when they're all installed. I'd rank their work as 9.5 out of 10. The reason for the 9.5 is they covered all of my mounting holes wich were a bitch to find. I'll try and snap a few pictures tonight so you guys can see the panels. I'd use them again.

Weazel

I got my seats, side panels and bolsters back this weekend. The guy did a great job and the price was 1/3 less than all the other quotes I had. Thanks for the reccomendation, I owe you one!
