Why Sodablast bottom paint?

Many boat owners are unaware of stripping bottom paint than the conventional harsh chemicals or sanding that could cause damage if not done correctly.

Soda blasting uses a non-toxic environmentally safe food grade product called baking soda.
The baking soda we use is USDA/FDA/OSHA Approved.

We can remove paint 1/10 of the time than chemically or sanding without damaging the thin gelcoat, which in return saves the consumer time and money in dry dock.

Removing multi layers of bottom paint reduces drag and in return better gas mileage. Also, you will gain several knots out of your boat performance.

California State Law in time will require all boat owners to remove anti-fouling
paints to a non copper paint. Most non copper paint suppliers require boat owners to remove their copper paints from their boat bottoms before they will apply their non copper paints due to bonding issues.

Our state of the art machine is licensed by the California State Air Resource Board.

We work with Kevin Zebrowski Silverton Yachts Warranty Supervisor and they ONLY recommend the Soda Blast System over chemically stripping, sanding or sandblasting.

Enclosed is a picture of a boat that the bottom was not properly prepped.
The picture shows how the paint has flaked off and now the copper paint is sitting at the bottom of our bays.

Also pictures of recent jobs completed and how the boat is properly contained while removing the bottom paint.

Talked to Troy, and he gave me a quote of $650.00 to do my 25 footer. It sure sounds better than laying on my back and stripping it myself.

Jason,
Thanks for the post.
$650 to not sand and inhale that stuff with a boat partner to split the cost with. Done. No brainer. Better fuel milage for Hanna... You'll see Guadalupe!
