rich,i have wondered about the techron/chevron connection but was told it was not a replacement for ring free?are you yamaha certified?

yes yami certified

chevron makes ringfree, which is a higher concentration of techron

techron is a lower dosage of ringer free in thier gas

so in terms you can use less ringfree and chevron gas

i use chevron gas, no ringfree, over 2500hrs on a 200HPDI, yamilube only, no carbon build up
