Looking for marine transmission specialist

Hi all,

I am looking for a Transmission specialist in the Long Beach area that is experienced with diesel marine engines. This is for my friend who has a Caterpillar Eng with a transmission problem. I guess the manufacture of the transmission is ZF and the type Irm 220a/1. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

I would call Tony at Seaboard Marine up in Oxnard. Very knowledgeable.

IIRC Harbor Deisel is a ZF dealer. A CAT dealer too!
