If I had a 15 footer right now, I'd take it 15-20 miles out (given the right conditions) and go paddy hoppin'.

Don't sweat it man. Pick your days and conditions carefully, and get out there.

Tight lines.
Thank you for the advices and comment.

Be safe and check that weather. Peace
Here are some pictures i just took, i bought the boat stock so far i bought some metal from shorre and build a little tower in the back so i can use it for cutting bait/filet . Also i welded a couple rocket launchers to save some space. The boat is pretty damn small so i have to maximize my use of spaces.
Mounted the bait tank too but that thing look like its a little too big for that boat..

Thanks for all the advices and comments guys, i really appriciated it.

thanks, i'll add some extra chain before i take it out, about the bilge pump, i have a 1500gph and a 500 as a back up.

With a front bow like that im sure i will take in a lot of water if the wind starts to pick up

We had a 17-1/2 seaswirl and it was a great boat. Ran that thing everywhere. Enjoy and be safe

I used to have a boat this size. I once asked my cousing (seaman) if this boat can take me to the islands. And he said...."the boat can.. but can you?"

If you're like me (and probably most of us on here), if I'm at the edge of my comfort level I'm probably in deep shit already. I won't go to the edge of my comfort level; especially if I have passengers. Just be smart about it; no problem taking that out looking for paddies within reason. Last year I took my 11' RIB out when the dorado were close (3-4 miles) and got a couple. Had my gps, vhf, etc; just made sure it was nice and calm out. Any weather comes up unexpectedly I could be back in the harbor in 10 or 15 minutes.

if youre unsure then just follow a buddy out with a larger boat.. if conditions get hairy just follow his wake back in... its kinda fun having a couple boats out, especially one small and one larger.

ive also heard if you want to go to catalina and are unsure (first off, you shouldnt be going then) but you can follow the express out there. their boats are jet driven and tear up the water, perfect if you wanted to stay on their tail, also they know the shortest/fastest route.. only thing is, they haul ass out there (25knots) so you gotta bring tons of fuel.
