| Painting CF #'s On An Inflatable?
I have a 11' Achilles inflatable used as a tender. It deflates and stores in it's bag. Everytime I whip it out and inflate it the CH #'s are peeling or moved, as well as the regestration. The dude before me made a wooden plank with the #'s on it to hang over each side. But, it's big and get's in the way. I have this black rubber spray that is plyable and impervious to water that I was thinking of using to stencil the #'s on. How do you guys keep your #'s on and looking good?

West Marine has this "deal" where you pay them and use a third party ( REGISTRATION NUMBERS FOR BOATS - Home) that makes a printed glue-on label for it. I'm going that route.
The other options is the plastic plates that tuck into pockets you glue on the inflatable, not a bad option either.

Plastic plates that we zip tie on the zodiac. Keep um in the storage bag with the boat and they are ready to go.

the plastic plates are a good idea for my regestration. I'll go with that option, with the paint on CF #'s.
Thanks.

I've seen them on the inside of the transom at Catalina along with the reg. sticker. Not 100% legal but gets the job done.

| I used a marker to put on my CF number on the bow and was stopped by the harbor patrol. They said it wasn't visible enough (Black marker on a grey inflatable) even though the writing met all the requirements. I've since changed to using 2 wooden planks with stickers. |
