Looks great! How does the 50 hp push the boat? I am trying to decide what hp to put on my skiff restoration project.

That's killer. This past spring I rebuilt a 14'' livingston skiff....not quite as involved as yours, but it's a good feeling. Take something that looks really rough, see the potential and turn it into something that turns heads at the ramp. Nice boat. You gave me some ideas for improvemts to mine.

the 50 pushes it to 20MPH cruising max about 28....I was looking at the 60Hse but it was like 120 pounds heavier and that is substantial on a small boat so I went with the 50...

You will never be "done" with a rebuild....you will always be thinking of things you can do to better the boat and make it more fishable..let me know how those improvements turn out!
