Which SS Prop for Honda OB, fishing boat?

I searched this forum, but didn't find anything on this topic... I'm going to replace my factory aluminum prop with a SS prop, and I'd like some advice on which model to go to.

The boat is a 20' Bayrunner Baja (aluminum) CC. The motor is a Honda 75 HP that I use primary to troll with in the Sea of Cortez, with a few hours of 3/4 throttle to get back and forth from the fishing grounds. I'm primary interested in fuel economy and durability, not speed, hotshot, or any of the bass boat values.

There are a lot of SS blade shapes, and I haven't found much info on the pros/cons of the various models. Any ideas out there, or a good website I can consult for my education?

Chris, most guys I know run Stiletto's. Expensive but they all seems to swear by them. Check out The Hull Truth too and do a search

I believe honda has a engine prop matching site with your boat listed, do a little searchy poo on google.

I did it this way a while back and it was pretty close. I ended up going with a 3 blade instead of a 4 blade but for your looking for would probably be better with a 4 blade.

Hope this helps, great combo by the way.

Thanks, Wideflange and Bigfish69. I didn't find any info on Honda.com, but I did find another site with some pretty good info. There seems to be a difference in availability of props for Hondas before 1999 vs after 1999. Mine is a 1998, so I have fewer options, though my local Honda dealer could not explain why. I'll keep up the search.

1999 and prior used Mercury lower ends. I second the Stilleto. I am running a 13 1/4 X 15 on my 2000 Honda 90.
