Talking My Buddy Said I should flush my motor

I drained out all my oil and kept the little screw guy out of the bottom of the big metal tank and then poured in a couple gallons of boiling water to clean everything out, which flowed the water out. I put the screw back in, and I let it sit for a couple minutes, put in slick 50 and then started it for the 2 minutes that my buddy said to do and kept it at 5k rpms. My motor then starting making this really loud knocking noise, which followed with a loud bang, and the engine shut off.

I sure Hope His Turbos is OK

, oh man that was a good laugh! That guy is one retarded car dude. I never knew boiling water was a good replacement for oil. What a dumbass. My favorite:

"I cant seem to find any good how tos for adding an "LSD" into my transmission. I saw in the forced induction form that people recommended an "LSD" if you turbo your car. I think I need one of these. Do I need any special tools, or will my 74 piece socket set from Craftsman be ok?

I'm feeling pretty confident that I can tackle this job, not taking into account the minor setback I had with the engine. After all, I managed to replace the distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs, ignition coil, and one of my belts on my own after spending some time on this site. The car ran like brand new after doing all that."

The guy is positive that he can add an LSD to his car, yet he doesnt even know what it is or where it goes. Better yet, he seems to think that if he can change the cap, plugs, wires, etc on his car, he can do everything else. What a dumbass. He deserves exactly what he is getting. $$$$ repair bill.

Thanks for the entertainment!
