| Scuppers
Ok, replaceing the sealed scuppers in the SD.
Went to West Marine and they only had the flap style scuppers that have to be above water line. In the cat with a full load the scuppers will be at or below water line alot.
Are there any scuppers out there that will work better when submerged part of the time.
My hull is about 1/2" thick, and the ball scuppers don't look like I can work them on such a thin hull.
Thinking I may need to fabricate something to thicken my hull at that point.

Hey Stan I have these scuppers on my boat that work well.I think thay are called Sea Stop or something like that. The retailers dont seem to have them but any good shipyard will. These scuppers are rectangular about 3 inches tall and 6 wide. They have a plastic frame with a plastic outward swinging scupper.I think these may be what you are looking for.

Thanks Bill, I'll try that before I order 2 of every scupper WM has in it's catalog...
Then return the ones that don't fit!

| New question
Ok, after reading all these... what about this idea.....
since it seems there are no below the waterline scuppers..
How about.. resealing the origional ones as they were. Then add a Port and strbrd Transom mount scupper above the mean waterline?????
Thoughts?
