If any of you are still in negotiations on a boat from the Fred Hall show or any other source, get the deal done. Any boats that are not registered by the end of this month will fall under new tax law. With an average boat price above $50,000.00 it could raise your out the door price by an easy thousand bucks. Ooooooch!!!
Hey mike, Any idea where can i find more info on this tax or what it's called ? I'm looking to buy soon. but won't be able to get it done before the month ends. Thanks,Byron

Offshore delivery still exists. It went back to 12 months out of state for CA residents, but it is still legit and being used.
The sales tax increase is part of Arnie's new budget...not sure if we get to vote on it in the special election coming up but i hear its law shortly. Sales tax varies by city....
