WTB 5.7L Mercruiser
Anybody know a goood place to pick up a crate Mercruiser 5.7L or a reputable place to have one rebuilt? Any info would be appreciated.

I saw a Crate 5.0 in the LA BoatTrader for $4000.

Let me know if you want me to get more details for you.

PS Hot Boat magazine has some great deals from some of there advertisers...

Thanks for the come back. I think the 5.0 would be on the small side in my boat (24' skippy) but thanks for the info. I'll check out that mag.

Please note, I may be wrong here but the Fuel Injected 5.0 put out 250hp....

The newer ones are quite strong. Take a look at the Merc website and see for yourself.
