I love my aluminum trailer. I think it about 6-7 years old and only had brake problems and that was my fault

(long story)
No need to haul all the extra weight and the axle setup has been flawless. The nice part about the hubs is the way the grease goes in. It fills from the front but the lub comes out near the back bearing through the hollow spindle. The trailer lights were poorly installed and they used the frame for return ground and that is a no-no. Oh, I also upgraded to a 15 inch wheel so that I could get some GOOD rubber on it but--------It now floats

I think I will add a few pounds of lead to offset the larger tires problem one of these days.
For Baja use I would buy the heaviest and maybe even an extra set of axles with the best tires money can buy and disk brakes. The nice part of having an extra axle is when something lets loose just pull the broken wheel and keep going until you can get it repaired.
