it works fine actually and has gotten me the same place to catch the same fish as hundred thousand dollar boats. if you want to buy me a motor that IS designed to work then i will take it

Not a big fan of outboards but I sure see a shitload of Force outboards doing the job. If you can fix it...run it til it dies (just like any other outboard).

Dan, I used to have a Force and I still have the book for it. Mine was a 1997 120HP and have no clue how different you motor is. If you want the book just let me know and is yours free. Send me a PM.

yah thanks, I had it out htis weekend and it ran perfect. I left that insulation out and didnt notice much difference in noise, im thinking i might just leave it out. I know that was part of the problem. its a fishing boat not a luxury boat, so me and my fishing partners dont give a shit about the noise
