Ya was also thinking about lowering that rail in the front, think i will switch to a roller like mentioned. The fab will be super easy for me to do as far as metal. I just never worked with wood before, but doesn't seem to hard to do. Here is the next question where can i buy the wood needed?

Lowes sells oak and poplar, both good easy to use hardwoods. Home Depot probablt has the same. They all come from the same distributor in SoCal

SICK!!!!! I love the centered wheel and the bunks to each side. Do you have a shot from the bow facing the pilothouse? Sorry for all the requests, boat looks like a ton of fun. Congrats.
