Today it happened. While running home in the afternoon slop, the warning alarm went off. We had to slog our way home at 5 knots for an eternity and now I need to find out what happened. Does anyone know a good Mercury Outboard Tech near (w/in 25 miles?) Huntington Beach? Thanks

It is an '04 40 hp four stroke.......first problem ever. plenty of oil, no engine noise, ran smooth @ 5 knots..........I am hoping it is an impeller.
