I have seen some Parkers with the rod holders in the front. I'd prefer them in the back. Thanks for the support, looks like I am cleaning the boat this weekend and getting it ready to show.

Sure am glad that I have the pink slip on mine. Economy sucks right now but as far as my income/work goes it's pretty good, looking at some decent BONUS BUCKS at work for 1st and 2nd qtr of this year. My wife and I have been blessed, she's been through two layoffs at work which didn't affect her and I've been through four or five in the last five years, none of which have affected me. During the last round of layoffs we lost 600 employees nationwide....sucks.
If times got really tuff my rig would go just before my house, of course. With my daughter headed off to college this year the money will be even tigther, now she needs money for her tuition fees, books, parking, a new/used car, INSURANCE, FUEL and all the other crap that goes along with it.
Anyway, enough about me. Hope everything works out with the sale. I would hate to have to get rid of my baby.

Hey guys, Tired to hang on as long as possible, but I finally am going to list the boat. If any of you are interested I will let the boat go for cost of what's owed (it's about $7,200 need to get current pay off). I am going to eat the remainder I owe on the motor. I am going to continue to fish it til it goes away. I have added a lean post since the pictures. If interested PM me. Please don't waste your time and mine by offering a lower price since I need the pay off to get the pink slip. I'd rather see one of you score before I post on CL and trader.

dangit matt. i just got back from working a few days in a row and was trying to catch up on some stuff and came across this. sorry to hear about k. and sorry to hear about the boat having to go. you always have a ride with me, even though my schedule is crazy in summer.
i've been on that boat and it rides well and fishes great. at that price, you should have no problem.
fg
i can't fish this week or next, too much stuff. i'll call you after we get back.

Horrible time to list a boat for sale, but I have been holding on as long as possible in hopes my buddies job will improve. If a BD member is interested I can go as low as $7K. Please do not ask a lower price as I need to pay off the boat. More details are in the classifieds. Last thing I want to do is put it on Craigslist. I have no patience for some of those buyers. Hopefully everyones cash will loosen up after the holidays.

man thats a great price with the newer outboard. sorry you can't find a way to keep it yourself.
you will never be able to replace it with as nice a ride for that kind if money.
maybe you can find a way for friends to help with payments in exchange for trips .
i did that when i was younger and needed a motor rebuilt on my old ski boat.
my friends paid for it and i promised ski trips with them the next summmer
worked out great.

worked out great. | Oh I am trying! I am going to kick myself for selling it, especially if I give it away for the cost of the loan. I know I'll buy another boat down the line, but I agree that this one is hard to replace for the money. Tough part is everyone is giving away boats right now. Unless I find a friend who is not effected by the economy and wants in, the boat is for sale.

talk to your lender about extending your loan and lowering the payment to something you can deal with.
put the boat in your name only and find a way to keep up the rest of the payments they shouldn't be more than 200 a month.......just a idea
