Battery Installation Question

Batteries are shot so I'm going to buy 4 new ones, question is how should they be installed? The current setup is 2 batteries connected to a Perko switch.

Here are some of the things I'm thinking of adding please let me know if I need them or not and how they should be wired in.

4 Optima Blue top Gel Batteries
Xantrex 1000w inverter
Xantrex Battery Charger

The draw on the batteries/inverter is going to be the following:

15" TV/DVD occasionally
Small microwave occasionally
CD/Radio Player
Bait pump
Raymarine C series
and the rest of the typicals e.g. Nav lights, bilge pumps....

I hope that's enough info.

Thanks in advance

1000w might barely run a very small microwave. That 1000watt rating is a peak maximum rating. They don't have a true sin wave either. Your TV wont last long. Look at a Prosine from xantrex.

msg me if you want a price

I might be wrong but I don't think a 1000 watt inverter will run a 800 watt microwave.

You will prolly end up with a 1750 watt inverter at the least.

Can't comment on the TV thing.
