2009 Offshore Shootout Canceled

Hello guys,

This years Offshore Shootout will unfortunately be canceled.

We held off as long as we could in hopes we would have some more signups a week before the tournament but we just don't have enough boats entered to give you guys a proper tournament for this years Shootout.

We'd like to thank the teams, that even in this tough economy, signed up to be a part of the tournament. We will be processing your refunds in full tonight.

Thanks Corky, Marcus, Ali, Jason, Vince, and all others who work so hard planning these tourneys. Your efforts are greatly appreciated, it's to bad we won't be able to have the event this year.

FKG is bummed our right now.

It's very hard to run a tournament these days. Sponsors and Anglers are just hard to come by...

We love the event and love the format. It will be back.

That sucks. Already got the time off work and could not wait to go fish the tournament again this year. Well maybe next year. Probably still going out fishing though.

So much for a repeat!! I guess we were one of the procrastinators. We were going to sign up Monday along with another team.

We wish you luck on the tourneys next year. Looks like we will be out fishing anyway.

Anybody for a brown bag tournament??? Winner take all?

totally blows considering how much fun we had with the Yellowtail shootout. looking forward to next years tournaments.

Wow! I was looking forward to this tournament as well. Sorry to see it cancelled but I know how much it takes to put this together and the costs involved. Times are tough... I hope this can be on again for next year.
